Cory Salzillo is a Partner of WPSS Group. Cory provides public policy analysis, legislative advocacy, and strategic business consulting for our clients on matters before the Governor’s Office, California State Legislature, and various state and local administrative agencies.

Prior to joining the firm nearly a decade ago, Cory served as the Director of Legislation for the California District Attorneys Association, the professional trade organization that represents nearly 3,000 prosecutors.

Mr. Salzillo has an extensive legislative history having served more than 23 years working in and around the California State Legislature. Cory previously served as a Consultant to the Senate Committee on Public Safety. In this capacity, he analyzed bills dealing with law enforcement, corrections, and firearms, among other topics, and advised the Senate on criminal justice matters.

He also served as a Consultant to the Assembly Committee on Transportation and worked for the offices of Senator Dick Ackerman and Senator Dick Rainey.

Cory graduated from the University of California at Davis in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science.  He enjoys spending time with his wife and son, traveling, wine tasting, and cooking.
